APRIL 14                                HAVEN                   ANNUAL SPRING PATIO PARTY
Spring has finally arrived and the patio at HAVEN is now open for the season! To celebrate the warm weather, HAVEN hosts their Annual Spring Patio Party on Thursday, April 14. Chef Stephen Herman will be grilling and serving up seasonal bites on the Big Green Egg paired with a selection of beer and wine. Guests will help kick off the spring live music series at HAVEN with a fun performance by Gross, Hill and Callahan while taking in the warm weather.  The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and costs $30.00 per person which covers food and beverages. APRIL 30    WORD OF MOUTH RESTAURANTS                BIG GREEN EGG COOKING CLASS
The dynamic duo, Chef Matt Swickerath of Valenza and Chef Stephen Herman of HAVEN, are back for the second annual Big Green Egg Cooking Class! Join both chefs on April 30 for an interactive cooking class hosted on the patio at Valenza. Bruce Bohannon, Big Green Egg Expert, will provide tips on using the Big Green Egg as well as suggestions on cleaning and upkeep. Swickerath and Herman will then lead the class in preparing the ultimate smoky menu that will demonstrate how smoking takes flavor to the next level. Just in time for grilling season, the class is ideal for anyone looking for a fun afternoon of learning how to use your Big Green Egg at home. Tickets are $50 per person and include lunch. Chef Christy Stone has crafted a menu that will feature unique breakfast dishes and savory lunch items such as Chicken with Breakfast Bread Pudding (béchamel sauce), Sweet Potato Hash with Poached Egg (dill hollandaise sauce) or the SMK BLT (lettuce, tomato, candied bacon, fried egg, smoked gouda cheese, chili aioli). Starting this month at HAVEN, Chef Stephen Herman will serve up a classic blue plate special every Sunday evening. Fish-n-Chips (beer-battered haddock, crispy potato wedges, marinated vegetables), House made Meatloaf and Southern-style Pot Roast are among some of the delicious dishes that will be featured each week. These comfort-inspired dishes might just appear on the menu of Word of Mouth Restaurants next new restaurant, The Royal. Sundays will be even more scrumptious at HAVEN this season.
